Mel Gibson’s Girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva Gives Birth

Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, has given birth to a baby girl on Friday according to RadarOnline.com. Though the baby came a few weeks before the due date - both mother and daughter are reportedly recovering well at home. This is Gibson’s eighth child, and the second child for Grigorieva, 39, who has a 12-year-old son by actor Timothy Dalton, (Of James Bond Fame). Gibson, 53, is currently embroiled in a divorce with the mother of his first seven children, Robyn, who looks set to be awarded half of the actor’s accumulated wealth.
He confirmed her pregnancy on “The Tonight Show” in May, explaining to then-host Jay Leno that he and Robyn had been separated for “three years, shortly after he was arrested in Malibu for drunken driving and launched into an alcohol-fueled anti-Semitic tirade. Gibson told Leno he met Grigorieva, 39, in 2008 after the singer/pianist had been signed to his Icon Records label. They appeared in public together (photo right) at a Los Angeles industry screening of “X-Men Wolverine: Origins.”
