Groupie Spills The Beans On Beatles, Rolling Stones, More

Chris O’Dell, a veteran of the background music industry, has written a new memoir, and it promises to be a juicy one.
Not only did Chris tour with the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan, but she had an affair with several of the members of those listed above. She also lived with George Harrison and his wife, and was there was Harrison admitted to sleeping with Maureen Starr, wife of Ringo Starr.
Ringo’s response to that bit of information? “Better you than someone we don’t know.”
Her book describes years of amphetamines, cocaine, and marijuana, as a crazy sex romp that made her seem more like a hooker than a personal assistant.
One interesting passage speaks about being on a plane with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, when the plane hit some serious turbulence.
“John and Yoko started singing the Hari Krishna chant. So we just chanted our way to the earth, basically, until we landed. And I thought, well, if I die here at least I’ll be on the front page.”
After the breakup of the Beatles, she went on to work for the Rolling Stones, and began a passionate affair with Mick Jagger.
“If there had been a job description being employed by the Stones back then, I’m pretty sure it would have included a proviso that went something like this: sleep with Mick whenever he asks.”
I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to read this book.
