Sarah Palin rips Levi Johnston for sad TV stunt

Sarah Palin rips Levi Johnston for sad TV stuntIn the latest installment of a snore-raising saga that makes ‘Days of Our Lives’ look like high-culture, Sarah Palin’s ex-future son-in-law, Levi Johnston is now zinging his former in-law to gain more attention.

No doubt accompanied by his ‘bodyguard’ [snort !] the 19-year old father of Palin’s new grandson began his two-part appearance on CBS’s ‘The Early Show’ by claiming Sarah refers to her own youngest son, Trig [who has Down Syndrome] as ‘retarded.’

Without troubling his allegedly vast intellectual powers with such trifles as facts or some proof, People reports that Levi then claimed he could cause Sarah great political harm with a host of dark secrets, which only he knows;

“I know things that could get her in trouble and could hurt her…will hurt her,” he teased. “But I’m not gonna go that far. I mean, if I really wanted to hurt her, I could very easily…But I’m not gonna do it.”

Such pubescent posturing by her daughter’s discarded date earned a stinging reply from Alaska’s ex-queen, “We have purposefully ignored the mean spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family,” Sarah responds in an admirably restrained formal statement, “Trig is our blessed little angel who knows it and is lovingly called that every day of his life.”

And Sarah did not miss her chance to skewer Levi for his forthcoming role in a meat mag, “Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies,” the statement suggests. “Those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more.”

If Levi knows things, a public put-down like that should drive him to prove it. If he won’t, then maybe she’s right?

Who wants to guess?
