Nicolas Cage’s Father August Has Died of Heart Attack

Nicolas Cage has been having some rough times of late with his debt and ex-manager issues and this certainly won’t help cheer him up.  His father August Coppola has died at age 75 of a heart attack, Cage’s spokeswoman revealed to the Associated Press. August is the brother of famous filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola.  He was a professor of literature at San Francisco State University, as well as dean of creative arts. Besides Nicolas, August is survived by sons Christopher and Marc and three grandchildren. R.I.P. August and our condolences to the cage family!
