Lindsay Lohan to be face of new charity film

In what may yet prove to be a premature April Fool’s joke, Lindsay Lohan is now engaged in a project that helps someone else.
In a new collaboration with the UK’s BBC, the 23-year old atonal singer and floundering actress is traveling to India next month to shoot a documentary that deals with the barbaric crime of child trafficking.
This uncharacteristically selfless endeavor was inspired by a meeting with Virgin Records tycoon, Sir Richard Branson. But true to her form, Lindsay is already in publicity mode;
“I’m going to India before Thanksgiving,” the Hindustan Times reports her as saying. “I think it’s important to make use of a voice when you have one, and make a difference.” she said.
The documentary, so far untitled, will showcase the plight of legions of children who exist on the brink of starvation among the seething humanity of 1.2-billion people, “It’s about child trafficking in Bihar, India. I’m a little nervous, but I’m excited to do something like that,” Lindsay added.
The actress, whose career jumped the rails after colliding with rehab now says she’s hoping to turn a new leaf by now focusing on charity work for most of the time.
If this means she won’t act or sing, I may now become her new biggest fan.
