As co-stars in the film Mamma Mia! they found bliss on an Aegean isle. In real life, however, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper are still literally miles apart in real life. Seyfried revealed though she’d love to move to London to be closer to boyfriend Dominic Cooper.

“I would move to the UK in a heartbeat,” the 23-year-old American actress told Mandrake at the premiere of Chloe at the Vue West End cinema in Leicester Square.

“It’s just that nobody thinks of me when casting British movies. It’s a shame, really, because I would put on a British accent in a heartbeat to work here. It’s partly because of the scenery, the architecture, the history of it, and a lot of the people I love most in my life live here.”

Cooper, 31, recently told The Independent he wouldn’t move to Hollywood because: “I love being in London – it means I can see all my old friends who treat me like c**p.”

Amanda also revealed she would be keen to work on the rumoured sequel to Mamma Mia! which co-star Meryl Streep has already said she would be a part of.

Amanda said: “I’d do it, why not? It would make people happy. Who knows if it would work, but all I have to say is the world loved it, so it seems, especially the younger audience. It’s beautiful.”

She told Newsbeat: “I’ve been talking to some insiders and it’s not something that they haven’t been working on. I don’t actually know anything other than that.

“I know it’s still going to be Abba music, because what else would it be. Come on, I wouldn’t do Mamma Mia 2 without Benny and Bjorn.
