TLC sues Jon Gosselin over contract obligations – it’s going to get ugly-er!

Things are going from ugly to uglier for Jon & Kate Plus 8. TLC network is suing Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as star of the now-shelved Jon & Kate Plus 8.  The lawsuit, filed Friday in Maryland, alleges that Jon, hasn’t met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.  The show’s production company also says Jon only attempted to remove his kids after producers failed to give into his attorney’s demand to let him out of his exclusivity contract.  RadarOnline.com says Jon has been raking in cash for interviews and appearances and TLC knows what he’s made and where he’s made it from.  The paydays are in violation of his contract which has a clearly defined exclusivity clause with the network thru February 2010 even though the show is no longer filming.  TLC’s contract with Jon prohibits him from revealing details from his contract, badmouthing the network, and making money from other outlets, but perhaps the most interesting is there is a morals clause.  And Jon’s allegedly been a very bad boy lately.
