Jude Law is the dad, say DNA tests

After a great deal of speculation, British actor Jude Law is now consoling his family after DNA tests proved he is truly the father of the baby  conceived by a 24-year old model who made claims of a fling back in July.

The 36-year old Londoner, who began acting at the age of just 12, has now admitted that Sophia, the daughter born to aspiring actress and model, Samantha Burke on September 22nd is indeed his.

When asked by Daily Mail reporters, Samantha’s agent, Ellen Koch, confirmed the sad news, ‘Samantha can confirm that DNA testing has conclusively established that Jude Law is Sophia’s father.” she said.

Even more than the $4-million experts assess Sophia’s upkeep will cost Jude over the next 18 years, his major concern is the strain on his connection with his three children, Rafferty,13, Iris, aged eight, and seven-year old Rudy, whom the actor produced with ex-wife, Sadie Frost.

The pair have been divorced for six years but Sadie is now said to be steamed, “She’s livid,” a close friend told reporters. “She feels he’s put unnecessary pressure and upset on the children and put himself under financial strain, which impinges on their lives.’

As for the new father himself, he seems to be coping quite well, “Jude told Sadie he only slept with her once. But now he’s confirmed that the child is his. He’s also reassured them it will not affect their time together.”

And the source closest to Jude, his PR rep, Sarah Keene is firmly behind him. She agrees that both Jude and his team are aware of the DNA information, but added, ‘We don’t discuss this. We consider it an entirely private matter.’
