Lindsay Lohan gets defended by Momma

In yet another installment of their ongoing and strangely high-profile feud, Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, has lashed out at her ex-husband, Michael for his latest remarks.

The ill-advised comments concerned Daddy Lohan’s new plans to conduct intervention to free Lindsay from her alleged dependence on prescription [?] drugs. Yesterday, a steamed Dina Lohan told the NY Post, “Unlike my ex, I don’t go on national television and make things up,” she fumed at the scribes. “I’ve had full custody of the children for ten years and he’s been in jail for some of that time, so Lindsay’s life is our business.”

When asked if the stories of Lindsay’s addictions were true, Dina became oddly vague, “I can’t comment on everything my ex says.” was the tight-lipped reply.

As you’ll recall, Lindsay’s recent exhibit at ‘Paris Fashion Week’ was shredded by critics and laughed at by fans. But Dina’s reaction was exactly diverse, “The critics can say whatever they want,” she retorted, “but Lindsay is a genius!”

And this vast mental prowess will see its next outing in Lindsay’s involvement with her mom’s new shoe line. But Dina won’t yet share the name? “We are not going to announce it and let every MySpacer buy the domain name. But Lindsay will definitely have input because she’s so talented.”

As if all that weren’t enough, Dina takes one parting shot at those folks who say Lindsay can’t act, “Leave her alone. Let her be a real 23-year-old, and let her artistic abilities flourish. Stop judging the Britney’s and Lindsay’s. They are very creative, and that is a gift from a higher power.”

So now all we know — Lindsay’s a talented, non pill-popping cranial athlete whom we should all feel blessed and inspired to adore….it says here.
