Tori Spelling visits ER with mystery pains

Published on September 30, 2009 at 12:53 PM

Former ‘Beverly Hills 90210′ actress, Tori Spelling has been admitted to hospital twice in two days, complaining of serious abdominal pain.

The 36-year old star of MTV’s reality series, ‘Tori and Dean’ has been recording her experience with the unspecified illness, which her husband and children have also shared at some time, and which they all call “The McDermott Family Bug” via Twitter for several days. But on Monday the experience became more [melo]dramatic;

The NY Post reports that Tori was admitted to an LA County hospital late Monday, but released within hours. Husband, Dean McDermott then updated her followers on Tori’s condition; “Just out of the hospital. After a battery of tests, no conclusive answers. Hope it passes soon. She’s in a lot of pain.”

When that pain failed to pass, Tori returned to the hospital Tuesday and underwent several tests to further focus the cause. She also visited a Gastroenterologist to try and determine the root of the pain. So far, no answers, but plenty more tweets, “At stomach specialist. It hit Liam last night, but I’m sure he just had stomach flu,” she tweeted. “Praying Stella doesn’t get it!”

Tori’s daughter, Stella Doreen, who was born on June 9 of last year by emergency C-section at Cedars-Sinai, began showing signs of infection on Thursday. By Monday she was feeling so bad, Tori canceled her role as host of the West Coast Liberty Awards which were planned for last night.

The awards went ahead, but there’s no further updates as yet on Tori’s condition, or that of her peeps. But with such nimble fingers — and one eye on her ratings – you can bet that will change…
