Apparently Randy Quaid is as quirky as the characters he often portrays, and the thing is his wife might be even more nuts than him. Anyway these two have gotten in trouble again. Randy and his wife Evi were just arrested in Marfa, Texas, TMZ reported last night. Both physically and verbally allegedly resisted arrest, with Evi eventually being wrestled onto the hood of the cop car.

According to law enforcement, the two have repeatedly walked out on price hotel bills without paying! Each faces felony charges of burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. Santa Barbara County sheriff’s spokesman Drew Sugars says the warrant for Quaid and his wife Evi set bail at $20,000 each.

Going back away, the bizarre hijinks attributed to Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, sank the once Broadway-bound musical “Lone Star Love. The Quaids’ antics were too much for the producers of the $6.5 million musical, so they closed the show in Seattle, bitterly complaining the couple had “hijacked” the production. All 26 members of the “Lone Star Love” cast brought Randy up on charges with Actors’ Equity Association, claiming he physically and verbally abused his fellow performers and that his oddball behavior onstage and off forced the show to close, thus depriving them of their jobs. As a result, Randy Quaid, the show’s former star, has been banned from the Actors’ Equity union for life.
