Ellen Pompeo becomes a new mom

We reported earlier this week that Katherine Heigl now has a new child. Well, it looks like she started a fashion.

Fellow Grey’s actress, Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery have just had a girl, according to Us magazine. And her name is just made to roll across a big screen, “Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery,” says the agent. “She was born on September 15th, here in L.A.”

Ellen, 39, and her husband, who’s a music producer, were married in 2007, and announced their upcoming baby to the press back in April.

“It’s a huge lifestyle change,” Ellen told reporters. “And I take that very seriously.”

And her co-star, Jessica Capshaw (she’s ‘Arizona Robbins’) is quite sure that Ellen can cope, “She is on top of it, and she’s really excited and hopeful, but at the same time she’s planning. And I think that’s the best way to be.”

The new season of Grey’s Anatomy starts tomorrow, and Ellen and Kate are both due for duty, so tune in and see if you can see the bags on their eyes…
