Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge see swift arrest

As we reported before, Lindsay Lohan’s current home was broken into on August 24. And now those wondrous beings at the LAPD have arrested the half-wit who did it.

Identified from a mixture of security footage and plain, old-fashioned gumshoe commitment, 18-year old Nicholas Prugo was arrested Thursday and has now been charged with committing ‘Felony burglary’ on the homes of both Lindsay and Audrina Partridge.

The culprit is now safely locked up in jail, pending a trial, with a $20,000 bond standing between him and the world.

Lindsay’s security gear had filmed a man and a woman, entering the home, but so far only Prugo’s been caught, “As of now, we have one person in custody and the investigation is ongoing,” LAPD spokeswoman Karen Rayner told People.

During the break-in a safe was ripped from the wall, and $1,000′s of bags, shoes and jewelry were also removed. And on February 22nd, ‘The Hills’ star, Audrina Patridge also suffered a break-in — Apparently by the same team of dim-bulbs??

And Lindsay and Audrina are far from alone — In less than a year, within a 20-mile radius, the homes of Paris Hilton, Hayden Panettiere and “The O.C.” actress, Rachel Bilson have also been robbed. But so far, Prugo and his buds are not connected to these crimes.
