Dustin Diamond sued for back taxes

Former ‘Saved by the Bell’ star, Dustin Diamond, still best known for that repulsive lifeform called Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers, is facing some pretty stark times. He now owes thousands in taxes and has had his prized SUV repossessed.

Dustin, now 32, has had almost no work since the ‘Bell’ last rang out in 2000, and in November he was sued by Ford’s credit firm for $544. Radar reports that the bill went unpaid and cost him his 2005 Expedition, which Ford then repossessed.

To make matters worse, on June 30th of this year he was sued for $21,015 of overdue property taxes, owed on his current home in Wisconsin.

The actor himself is making no comment, but it seems likely he’s finding life pretty hard. Apart from some recent reality shows – his last TV appearance was a spot on ‘Celebrity Fit Club’ in mid-2008 — Dustin’s last claim to fame was a lurid sex tape, ‘Screeched: Saved by the Smell,’ which emerged in 2006.

Dustin claimed it was leaked by mistake, but his agent later confessed that Dustin had shared it on purpose himself, in hopes it might rekindle his fame.
