It’s a boy for Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel

Congratulations go out to celebrity couple, Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel who had their first child after 13-years together a son.

Private Practice star Diggs, 38, and Menzel, 38, began dating after meeting in 1996 on the set of the Broadway play, “Rent.” They were married in January 2003.

Menzel, a Tony-award winning actress for originating the Elphaba role in “Wicked,” recently joined her husband on the set of his hit ABC show — she appeared in last week’s “Private Practice” as a guest star and will appear in a few more episodes.
