Violent struggle suspected in slain model Jasmine Fiore’s car

Authorities have released new details in the Jasmine Fiore case. They have reported finding signs of a struggle within her car, including a ‘significant amount of blood’, as well as hair.  But they don’t know whether she was killed in the Mercedes-Benz sedan or somewhere else as police officials have also said that they found blood on the patio of the hotel room where the swimsuit model and her ex-husband and believed killer were staying.

So far, they say they are unsure of the exact course of events, but that they believe she was put into the suitcase she was found in at the hotel room. Whether this is before or after she was killed isn’t clear, but given the struggle in the car it seems likely that the blood came from wounds sustained in the vehicle.

They also found twigs and dirt in the car, and believe that Ryan Jenkins may have taken it off road in order to find an isolated area. That is where authorities believe he removed the models fingertips and teeth to make her harder to identify.

Fiore was identified by serial numbers on her breast implants.

Jenkins was found dead in his hotel room on Sunday, ending the search, but not the investigation into the murder of his wife. The death is believed to have been a suicide, as he was found hanging by his belt.
