Lindsay Lohan in new break-in scare

In a story remarkably similar to one we reported just a few weeks ago, Lindsay Lohan’s home in the Hollywood Hills has been the focus of a suspicious robbery.

Returning home around 3am Sunday,.Lindsay, 23, found a safe had been pulled from the wall, and some clothing and shoes were also removed. “She is okay, but upset,” Dina Lohan told reporters. “The door was off the hinges and door handles were removed. Handbags, shoes and jewelry were taken as well.”

Lohan apparently called her father as soon as she discovered the disturbance, and in a display of mental acuity that’s as telling as it is unsubstantial, Daddy Lohan claimed to reporters this latest misfortune was an insider job. “I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family,” he said. “This is a offense and it has to stop.”

Fortunately, Lindsay is now due to move to safe quarters, “Ali and Lindsay just left people in charge to pack, as we are moving her to a safer place,” says her Mom.

It’s tempting to wonder if it has nice, soft walls?

We reported a very similar story in May, but no-one has so far been detained over that. This time, the LAPD confirmed to NBC that they received a call reporting the break-in at around 7am yesterday, but no arrests have been made at this point.

So let’s get this straight — You reach your $-multi-million crib at around 3am and find it’s been trashed, and it takes you four solid hours to flip open your cellphone and call 911.
