LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian chasing love on the links?

As we reported before, country music star LeAnn Rimes has been getting really close with Eddie Cibrian. This was strongly denied by LeAnn…which meant, of course, it was true; And now we have proof she was…er, ‘factually confused’…

The affair first emerged back in March when paparazzi spied the couple getting cozy and close on a Malibu beach. They’ve since been seen schmoozing at an LA Lakers game and many other events. Things then got worse when, LeAnn, 26, and her husband, Dean Sheremet, put their seven-year marriage in ‘park’ and are now separated. No divorce has been mentioned, but that’s often next.

According to Us magazine, ‘Ugly Betty’ alumnus, Eddie was calm and reflective on the attention this friendship had caused, “When you reach a certain point in your career, you’re placed in this unfair fishbowl,” he whined at reporters.

Meantime, his wife, runway model Brandi Glanville, 36 – who moved out of their house when she found out – was bitingly clear on her views, telling reporters that Eddie’s, “displays of poor taste have hurt our children.” [They have two sons, Mason, age 6, and Jake, who's now 2.] And the lady was just warming up, “Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home-wrecker, and has been an absentee father,” she continues. “He may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl.’”

The latest chapter unfolded on Thursday, when LeAnn and Eddie, 36, were spied on the greens at a golf course in Valencia, CA — just a month after both partners bailed because of this tryst….Not an entirely wise move.

Neither LeAnn or Eddie has so far made comment, but we’re watching this story and will keep you advised.
