Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler spied smooching on set
Rumors have swirling for months, and while it may be a ploy just to get butts on seats, it seems Jennifer Aniston has found Mr. Right.
Or at least her Mr. Right Now.
Tongues on the set of the pair’s latest picture, ‘The Bounty,’ have been wagging for weeks, and every word of a romance has been flatly denied. But it looks like, at last, the stories are true. One source on the movie told Radar that Jen and co-star Gerard Butler get quite close between takes, and while shooting a fight scene on Wednesday they even stole a quick kiss.
“We saw him give her a little kiss,” says the snitch, who was on-set during filming at New York’s Belmont Park race track. “They were very lovey-dovey.”
Our well-placed informant also reports that the pair hang out for hours in Jennifer’s trailer, and can be quite ‘flirty and affectionate’ between all the takes. “At one point they started to hold hands, but Jen pulled back because she saw people watching,” says the source.
Yesterday, their latent romance got silly as Jennifer was filming a scene in which her character, ‘Cassidy,’ is escaping from horses, “Jen and Gerard were joking around after that and he started to feed her popcorn and peanuts,” says one on-set source. “He was popping them in her mouth and she was laughing while eating. Then the Director [Andy Tennant,] said, ‘What are you doing??’ Gerard replied ‘We’re doing peanuts in another scene.’ They weren’t, and Andy asked where they got that idea? Jen said “The props guy,” and that guy put his hand up as if to say ‘guilty.’”
After some disastrous pairings Jen deserves a good man, and most on the set think she’s found him. She’s reported to be ‘relaxed and happy,’ and the source says her link with Gerard is at that ‘cool and sweet’ stage that’s found at the onset of all new affairs. “They look like they’re at the beginning of a relationship that’s really nice,” says a spy.
With all of Jen’s heartache, no man alive could say it’s not time. So, is this true love? Let’s hear what you think…
