Breaking Story: LeAnn Rimes being questioned by LAPD

Just hours after being spied on the golf course with her alleged new love, Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn Rimes is now deep in talks with the cops.

The LA Times is reporting that LeAnn was interviewed by the LAPD last night, concerning an alleged [non-fatal] hit-and-run that occurred at around 7.45pm in the 11000 block of Montana Avenue, in L.A’s Brentwood district.

LeAnn is accused of being involved as the driver, but the incident is being treated as a misdemeanor and no charges are pending as yet.

Should the Police determine that charges are needed they would then forward the case to L.A’s District Attorney, Steve Cooley, who would pursue prosecution.
