Quentin Tarantino smoked pot with Brad Pitt?

Seventeen years after transfixing the world with his breakout directing debut in ‘Reservoir Dogs,’ Quentin Tarantino is now proving he still knows how to sell a good film.

With his newest work, the Brad Pitt-starring war feature, ‘Inglorious Basterds’ due to open on Friday, Quentin strangely choose this week to let it slip that he once sampled some of Pitt’s pot.

According to TMZ, Quentin says the 45-year old actor had a whole brick of the stuff in his home last Summer, and offered Q a large slice – plus a Coke can in which to smoke it. As Quentin remembers, the result was “pretty good.”

A recent guest on Bill Maher’s HBO talker, Quentin assured Bill his pot-smoking days are behind him. Yes, but the big premiere’s on Friday — hence this slight, well-timed lapse…
