Jessica Simpson lost Tony Romo through drink – Sister Ashlee Heading Down Similar Path

As was proven weeks ago, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were doomed from the start. But now it’s all over, it seems the main cause of their breakup was his pals reaction to Jessica’s fondness for drink.

“Jessica would get really drunk and obnoxious, it was out of control,” a close friend tells Fox News. “She would be sprawled out with her head on his lap and Tony was so embarrassed. His team-mates were really hard on him over it and breaking up was a hard decision, but he had no choice.”

Sources reveal that Tony really cared about Jess and defended her in front of his fellow jocks. But in the end, even he saw the whole thing was doomed. Friends say there were other cracks in their love-life, but the drinking was what finally made Tony cut her loose, “Jessie was stunned,” the friend says. “It came as a total shock.”

In related news, Jessie’s young sister, Ashlee, has also made headlines; After publicly trashing her husband, Pete Wentz’s ex-girlfriend, Michelle Trachtenberg, Ashlee,24, got involved at the weekend in one of the saddest PR stunts I’ve seen in…well, days!

On Saturday, Pete, 30, performed with his band, ‘Fall Out Boy’ at Blink 182′s concert in his home town of Chicago. He then joined Ashlee for a party at his own bar, Angels & Kings. But multiple witnesses report that Ashlee got so drunk, she made him leave his own gig, “Ash came up to him in the DJ booth, completely wasted, and yelled at him to leave,” says one source. “They fought, she screamed at him – in front of a whole group of people – then made him leave his own party early.”

Once outside, the two allegedly fought some more. Ashlee then spotted a paparazzo taking pictures and staggered down the street after him, then made him delete all the damaging shots. Her ‘security’ people then bundled the drunken starlet and her cuckolded husband into a waiting SUV, and they sped off to locations unknown. Sad.
