‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 9 Contestants Announced

The newest lineup for ‘Dancing With The Stars’ has been announced, with the same interesting mix of mostly fading celebrities including Donny Osmond, Melissa Joan Hart, Macy Gray, Mya, and Kelly Osbourne, as well as several others.

One of the most unusual contestants has to be Tom DeLay, the former Republican House Majority leader who was known as ‘The Hammer’, for his strict, conservative policies. And the remaining cast include models Kathy Ireland and Joanna Krupa, singer Mya, Ashley Hamilton, son of former contestant George Hamilton, chef and Food TV star Mark Dacascos, singer Aaron Carter, actress and “Entourage” cast member Debbie Mazar and some athletes including Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin. ultimate fighting star Chuck Liddell, former Cowboy’s star Michael Irvin, and Olympic snowboarder Louie Vito.

Each celebrity will be battling it out for the dancing title, as they are judged by Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba.

The season begins September 21st, on ABC.
