Kate Hudson planning babies with A-Rod?

Clearly not a girl to let the grass grow, Kate Hudson is said to be preparing to pitch Alex Rodriguez on the idea of kids.

The couple have only been dating a few months, but friends say Kate is ready to start work on a sibling for Ryder, her 5-year old son from Kate’s seven-year marriage to the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson that flamed-out in divorce in 2007.

“Kate just turned 30 and she’s ready for a second child,” a friend told MSNBC. “She told Alex they would make a beautiful baby together, and that she would assume all financial responsibility.”

So the girl wants a baby…but that ‘responsibility’ part means no plans for a father…And that’s sad.

If you’re a fan of the Yankees, don’t get depressed — there won’t be any ‘Baby on Board’ stickers on the team bus just yet. A good source told reporters that A-Rod, who already has a four-year old daughter and a baby of 16-months from his ex-wife, Cynthia [who walked out on their marriage in 2007 when he was caught in yet another affair,] is not even close to the right mood to have more babies right now.

Kate’s response to his coolness is, as yet, unknown. But she’s clearly determined and we’ll keep you advised…
