Victoria Beckham a flop on American Idol debut

For those with the mental resistance to care, the word from American Idol is that Victoria Beckham was a banquet of fail.
The 35-year old (ahem,) ’singer’ told reporters she was “beyond excited” when offered the chance to stand in for Paula Abdul as a guest judge on the show. But folks who were there were less than enthused by the dismal results, “It didn’t go too well,” one source told Radar. “She tried too hard to be ‘nice,’ and came off as icy and wooden.”
The former Spice Girl even tried smiling when she arrived for the taping in Denver on Friday. But insiders say Vicky fooled no-one with her fake, upbeat show. Sources report she was ‘bland’ throughout the recording, and that some of the contestants were so upset by the unexpected change in judges, they complained while on stage.
As for America’s favorite disgruntled ex-judge, between teasing the media and bathing in all the self-serving PR being stirred up by Simon, Paula recently taped a cameo on Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva,’ and somehow found time over the weekend to tweet to both of her fans that she had, “Just had a great workout at the gym, and now it’s time to catch up with some favorite shows on TiVo.”
…So the AI media circus is clearly not finished yet.
