Dr. Phil accused of long-term sexual misconduct

In a manner of therapy you probably won’t see on his show, the nation’s favorite shrink, Dr. Phil McGraw has now been accused of sexually molesting a patient.

The accuser, Sarah Morrison, a former client of Phil’s – and also briefly his intern – alleges the CBS star repeatedly fondled her in the late 1980′s. “Not a single day has gone by when I haven’t been affected by what Dr. Phil did to me,” Sara, 44, has now told the Enquirer. “The world should know this man is a predator. He shouldn’t be telling Americans how to live their lives.”

The alleged misbehavior is said to have happened when Sarah, then aged 19, was home from college for the Summer and sought counseling from a – then unknown – doctor, in a small, local clinic in her home state of Texas. “I suffered from low self-esteem, and I was depressed, lonely and suicidal,” she recalls. “He wanted to see me three or four times a week – as a patient.”

That Summer, so Sarah’s story recounts, nothing unseemly happened. But that changed the following year when, so Sarah now claims, he paid her to work as his intern – while still charging to counsel her at the same time. “The first day I showed up for work, he had his hands all over me,” reporters were told. The good doctor’s accuser also says the Police were called in, and that Dr. Phil’s wife, Robin, had been outraged by the news.

At the time of the alleged molestation. Phil had been married to Robin for more than eight years – but Sarah says this did nothing to reduce his interest in her, “Phil would pull me down to sit in his lap while he talked on the phone, to patients or doctors – Even his wife! He’d be running his hand up and down the inside of my thigh, all the way up to my panties.”

So far, neither Dr. Phil or his wife has made any response to these startling, and strangely long-silent claims. We’ll let you know if and when he replies.
