Mischa Barton’s condition causing further concern

We already brought you the news about Mischa Barton and her sudden removal from society, courtesy of the wonderful folks at the LAPD. Well, it seems her brief stay in that far-off happy place did not do too much to dispel Mischa’s demons.

Having already missed the premiere for her new movie, the Morgan Freeman-directed, ‘Homecoming’  Mischa was getting close to the edge again over the weekend.

On Saturday the 23-year old actress was spied having what sources describe as a ‘disastrous’ dinner with some girlfriends at Sant Ambroeus, a somewhat pricey but charming eatery on West 4th Street in the Village. “She was upset and talking frantically into her phone about having a stalker,” a source told Page Six. “Her friends tried to console her, but she went outside and chain-smoked cigarettes.”

And Sunday didn’t got too well either; Dressed in a rather unflattering and too-tight black dress, Mischa attended the ‘Carrera Summer Escape’ party at the Cooper Square Hotel, a luxurious 145-room creation in Manhattan’s Bowery district. The evening proceeded without too much drama…until one hapless guest emptied their glass all over Mischa’s rather confining couture.

She didn’t react, or even create a scene – as some lesser actresses might. But she left soon after that, and her reps are now refusing to add any info.
