Paris Hilton’s ex-manager shopping new book

Published on August 3, 2009 at 12:17 PM

In news we can only hope Lindsey and Britney are reading, Paris Hilton’s ex-manager is now shopping a book spilling all of her secrets. Jason Moore, the man credited [blamed?] for Paris’ talent-optional fame has written a treatment about the proposed tell-all memoir, and publishing houses seem quite eager to play.

Due to be called, ‘Controlling Chaos,’ the book – so a pitch-letter now  making the rounds among publishers claims  – will show how he single-handedly transformed, “this blond piece of clay into a global icon, with a reality show and her own merchandise line.” And as Moore didn’t sign a confidentiality agreement, it’s believed the book will be thick with ‘behind-the-scenes’ info as well.

“Jason will demonstrate how, for 10-years, he saved her from disgrace by manipulating the media, and Paris herself,” says the letter. “Paris was often her own worst enemy. If she didn’t have Jason Moore pulling the strings, she could well have faded into oblivion.”

Now they tell us!

The letter then quotes Moore as saying how the girl widely regarded as the original ‘celebutard’ was more than willing to play along with the scam, “She spent hours posing in front of the mirror, nailing the ideal pose for a perfect paparazzi photo,” he says. Her plan, so he claims, “was to be the kind of character that would land commercials, endorsements, film and TV roles, and the man – or maybe even the girl – of her dreams.”

Moore’s work with his intellectually-untroubled puppet ended last year, and the word is he ditched her because his wife got sick of all the time he was gone, dealing with Paris and running her life. But Jason told reporters this was never the case, “There were a lot of reasons for the split, but nothing to do with my marriage.”

In response, a friend of the heiress told the Daily News that Paris — who just got back from shooting a new season of her dire “BFF” reality show in Dubai – was not scared by the possible book, “Given the legal issues, I’d be surprised if it ever sees the light of day.” was the friend’s smug review.
