Amy Poehler returning to Saturday Night Live Weekend Update

SNL alum Amy Poehler is returning to Saturday Night Live, but she’s not actually going to be on the show during its usual Saturday time slot.

Poehler will instead reunite with her former Weekend Update co-anchor Seth Meyers for the first two editions of the half-hour Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update Thursday at 8PM on September 17 and September 24.

Not coincidentally, the episodes will lead into the first two episodes of the second season of Poehler’s NBC comedy, Parks and Recreation, which airs at 8:30PM.
