Michael Jackson is Omer’s dad, says Jackson father (Video)

Despite Omer’s denials, Michael Jackson’s dad, Joe, has now confirmed to the press that Omer Bhatti is Michael’s son.

Joe Jackson now says he always knew there was a secret fourth child, “Yes, I knew he had another son. I did,” he says in the video, seen here. And the similarities between the 25-year old Bhatti and his late son did not long escape the 80-year old patriarch, “He looks like a Jackson, acts like a Jackson, and can dance like a Jackson,” Joe explains.

The parentage rumors truly began when Omer was seen sharing the front row at Jackson’s memorial, with members of a family of which he was not known to be part. He was also reported to be seeking DNA proof of a link to the singer — a story that Omer has since strongly denied.

Michael’s older brother, Jermaine made it clear at the time that, should such a link be established, Omer would be regarded as part of their fold, “If Omer’s his son, he’s his son,” he told reporters. ‘We won’t deny it. We’re going to give him the same love and care we give Prince, Paris and Prince Michael II. I can’t say if he’s Michael’s, but I saw this kid around him.”

In 2004, Michael Jackson is said to have admitted that Omer truly was his, “Jackson told his closest associates that Omer’s mom was a Norwegian with whom he had a one-night stand.” a source close to the family has claimed.
