Jude Law surprised to find he’s going to be a daddy again

Actor Jude Law is to become a father for the fourth time following a Christmas fling with an unnamed woman who is now seven months pregnant with his child. Law’s lawyer released a rather terse statement saying that “following a relationship last year” the star “has been advised that he is to be the father of a child.” Although Law “is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned” he intends to be “a fully supportive part of the child’s life.” Law has three children with former wife Sadie Frost, and is currently single. He reportedly broke the news to Frost and his children on Tuesday, and said he wants to play an active role in the child’s life.
Law has had his love affair controversies in the past. He got into trouble with ex-fiancee Sienna Miller over an alleged tryst with the kids’ caregiver, Daisy Wright, who memorably told the British tabloids at the time, “He is a great lover and knows how to satisfy a woman.”

The Talented Mr. Ripley star , will be performing as Hamlet on Broadway this fall, also will star as Watson opposite Robert Downey Jr. in the highly-anticipated “Sherlock Holmes,” opening Dec. 25.

Update: TMZ says the baby momma is Samantha Burke, an actress and model.
