Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson in Comic-Con rift

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were married in a very non-Hollywood, low-key ceremony in Canada in September last year, and since then have seemed like a match made in heaven. But sources are saying the pair are now having some difficulties.

The most recent dispute occurred just as the seemingly idyllic couple were preparing to travel to Comic-Con last week. Scarlett was booked for a PR appearance with Robert Downey Jr. and the rest of the cast, to promote her new role as ‘Black Widow’ in ‘Iron Man 2,’ while Ryan’s people had scheduled dates with his fans and the press to discuss his next role as ‘Green Lantern.’

“They got in a huge fight,’ a source tells Fox news. “It caused such a rift, Ryan refused to attend Comic Con and told Scarlett she could go alone. And she got so angry, she threatened to take off her wedding band.”

The press meetings went as scheduled, but Ryan was absent – And that really upset his new bosses at Warners. Scarlett, meanwhile, kept all her dates and her bosses were pleased as can be. “Ryan pulled out at the last minute and word spread fast. He isn’t making a show of good faith to Warners after they battled over making him ‘Green Lantern’,” says the source. “Scarlett started the fight, but she looked like a professional – answering questions and posing for pictures. It was not a good way for Ryan to begin work as the star of the movie.”
