Michael Jackson’s love-child known well by his kin

As we reported yesterday, one of the countless rumors that have emerged since we lost Michael Jackson on June 25, is the proposition that the singer had a secret fourth son. Well the rumors may not be as wild as they seem.

It appears Omer Bhatti, the 25-year old singer, who often calls himself ‘Michael J.’ has been known by the Jackson family for at least seventeen years, “One day at Neverland, Michael’s nephew told his mom [Michael's sister, Rebbie] he just met a kid who called himself ‘Michael J,’ and he was saying that Uncle Michael was his father,” says a family friend. “This was news to Rebbie, and she called Michael’s mom, who had no knowledge of it either.”

Omer lived at Neverland from that day in 1992, until some time in 2003, “The family has been wondering how long it would take for this to get out,” the friend said.

Despite his sudden appearance, with no explanation, years before Debbie Rowe got involved, family friends say that Omer was accepted as Michael’s biological son. “He looked so much like Michael, especially when he was younger. We have every reason to believe it’s his son,” said another family source. And Omer’s acceptance is believed to be why Michael’s mom, Katherine, got such a large slice of the singer’s estate — because she now has to provide for Omer as well.

So if Michael’s the father, who is the mom? The family don’t know, but Elizabeth Taylor is thought to have introduced her to Michael, so if anyone knows, Elizabeth would…And Liz isn’t talking. “The one woman who knows everything about Michael and where his children came from is Elizabeth,” a friend told The Scoop. “But even though the mother isn’t clear, we all believe Michael J is his son.”

Why Michael would hide a son from the family and tell no-one the facts of his birth is quite odd, but not rare — His own sister, Janet kept her marriage to Rene Elizondo a secret for almost ten years, until they split up in a bitter divorce.
