Michael Jackson’s alleged love-child seeking a DNA test
While it’s widely known that the late Michael Jackson had three children, there is growing speculation surrounding the idea of a fourth.
The young man in question, Omer Bati, considered by some to be Michael’s love-child, was awarded a front-row seat at the singer’s memorial on July 7th. Michael is also said to have told some close friends that the 25-year old singer is the result of a one-night affair in 1984. Omar is now believed to be seeking a DNA test to learn if that’s true.
There are certainly grounds for contention. The likeness between Omer and Michael’s youngest son, Prince Michael II, are clear and quite striking; The facial features and hair are so alike, there seems a good chance the tests could bring proof. And yesterday, Omer’s own mother, Pia — who now lives in Norway – refused to rule Jacko out as Omer’s true dad. “Michael was the King of Pop. But for us he was so much more,” was her cryptic reply.
When Omer was born, Jackson is known to have sent two employees to Norway to help Pia raise the new son. When the three of them met at a hotel in Tunisia in 1996, the 12-year old Omer impressed even Michael with his dancing ability, and the family were moved to the Neverland ranch the following year.
And the clues keep on coming: Omer lived at Neverland for several years. He is seen in photos at Michael’s birthday in 2003 and was there in the house when the cops arrived to deliver a warrant for alleged child abuse, “It was totally sick.” Omer told reporters last year. “It was the whole squad from the Santa Barbara PD. Michael was not even at home.” Michael also dedicated his 2001 album ‘Invincible’ to Benjamin Hermansen, Omer’s best friend, who was murdered by neo-Nazi’s at the age of 15.
To Omer, Michael Jackson was close to a god; He idolized the late singer, and has performed as a tribute act all over the world. The pair have been seen in public numerous times, and Omer has even performed with his friend.
Now building a career of his own in hip-hop and rap, Omer, who uses the stage name, “O-Bee’ is clear on allegiance, “Loyalty is the most important thing for me,” he said in a 2008 interview. “I have contact with Michael, and I think loyalty is the reason we still have that. He is an unbelievably good human being.”
Since the memorial service Omer has remained in LA. His family, however, has returned to Norway, where Sun reporters called them for a quote; Omer’s mom’s current husband – who worked at Neverland as a driver, but is from Pakistan and therefore unlikely to be Omer’s true dad – was quite unresponsive, “Make what you like of it.” he said. “I don’t want to discuss anything.”
