Kate Jackson reportedly now living in squalor
Former ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star, Kate Jackson moved into her spacious, new $2-million home in the upscale regions of Santa Monica just one year ago. And the place is already knee-deep in trash.
Neighbors say the once-immaculate residence is now a haven for rats, with moldy food, mounds of debris and floors covered in droppings. “There is so much junk, we had to remove a bunch of stuff just to walk in,” professional cleaner David Angelotti told the Star. “It stank in there because there was so much garbage everywhere.”
And her neighbors were keen to agree. “Kate is very sweet, but there’s something bizarre about her,” said one. “She has so much clutter in her backyard, and the house is a shambles.”
Six years ago, the three-times married actress, now 60, was reported to be dependent on prescription drugs to relieve the pain caused by numerous car accidents. Mr. Angelotti believes Kate’s messy home and the odd behavior seen by his crew, such as talking too fast, repeating herself and frequent and repetitive stuttering may well be proof she’s addicted again.
Angelotti was hired to clean up the home by Kate’s assistant. It took them two solid days. Kate then asked them to do one more day. “But no-one wanted to work there again,” he says. “It was depressing. She’s like a crazy recluse – it’s a really sad Hollywood story.”

Kate sounds like a classic hoarder, which is a deeply rooted psychiatric disorder which requires therapy to deal with in a long-term situation. Hoarders tend to dstrust people in general and in light of her 3rd divorce and loneliness, Kate may be at the end of her rope. I am so sorry to hear that she’s in the mess she’s in currently, and I hope she uses this as a life line to reach out to others for help and basic companionship. There is a mental illness that Kate is battling with now, and she needs help and constructive methodology to deal with it, not gossip and back-stabbing like those cleaning jerks who clean and tell.
Shame on them for refusing to return on the thrid day of cleaning. It’s like they took her money but didn’t finish the job. They were sure there long enough to take desparaging photographs and probably made a lot of dough selling those photos to the National Barkquierer, I love that magazing but I hope they deal with Kate with loving words. She needs help, not jokes. God bless everyone who is interested in Kate and her dilemma. If you can reach out and help her, then this article isn’t printed in vain.
