Ryan O’Neal’s son claims dad cheated on Farrah

Less than a month after her funeral, Ryan O’Neal is already running damage control on his life with Farrah just before her demise. The latest challenge comes in the form of claims that he had a long-term affair with Farrah’s girlfriend of more than ten years – Rod Stewart’s ex-wife, Alana.

Griffin O’Neal, Ryan’s 44-year old son from his four-year marriage to the late actress Joanna Moore, now accuses his father of sleeping with Alana while Farrah was fighting for life in a hospital bed. “They were sharing a room together,” he claims in a new interview.

The younger O’Neal, who has been estranged from his father for years and was even banned by Ryan from attending the funeral, goes on to claim that the pair were caught in bed together by Farrah’s dad, Jim, who had flown in from Houston to be with his daughter. “It really upset Jim, so he packed his bags and went home.”

The claims are supported by a longtime friend of the actress, Javier Salazar, who describes Ryan’s connection with Alana as, ‘Fishy.’ He goes on to say that, “Ryan and Alana were a little too cozy with each other…It was raising eyebrows. They both even stayed at Farrah’s home in the end.”

For his part, Ryan has already poured scorn on his son’s lurid claims. And it has to be said that Griffin is not the most credible source, considering he’s still steamed at Ryan for shooting at him and his pregnant girlfriend the last time they stopped by the house.

Reps for both O’Neal and Stewart have strongly denied Griffin’s stories, but would not comment on why he might lie.
