Ivanka Trump announces engagement

Probably because when you’re this rich you can find nothing better to do, Ivanka Trump has just got engaged to her longtime paycheck boyfriend, Jared Kushner. And she broke the news to the world on her Twitter account, “I got engaged last night…truly the happiest day of my life!!!” the tweet read.

The couple first dated in 2007, then split and got back together in 2008. This time it looks like it might last the week — Ivanka  27, has even converted to Judaism to please Jared, 28, whose family publishes the New York Observer.

As for the hardware, sources told Us that Jared came through with the goods, “The ring is stunning!” was all they could breathlessly say.

And how is big Daddy reacting to this? “I’m very happy about it,” says the Donald. “They make a magnificent couple.”
