Jon Gosselin buys his new lady an engagement ring, sucker!

As we reported last week, Jon Gosselin is not letting the grass grow round his feet now his marriage to Kate is officially toast.

Jon, 32, is now dating Hailey Glassman, the 22-year old daughter of Kate’s tummy-tuck surgeon, and the new couple have  been making some plans. Sources confirm the pair had a secret meeting aboard fashion designer Christian Audigier’s yacht last weekend, at which Hollywood’s favorite jeweler, Edouard Nahum, showed the new lovebirds a selection of rings.

The winning item was a 24ct-gold skull, surrounded by four, glorious black diamonds. Price? $180,000.

“They’re engaged, but nobody is allowed to say.” a source close to Edouard confirmed.”We’ve been warned to keep it a secret.”

And what do you when you’re secretly hitched? You wear your flashy new ring to the club so your friends can find out, natch! And that’s just what Hailey has done — the girl was seen schmoozing and dancing at the VIP Room in St. Tropez late Monday night, with the new rock on her finger for the whole world to see. “Hailey was flashing her ring around, and she and Jon were kissing and hugging,” says a fellow clubber.

Next on the schedule is a wedding, of course. And the venue is currently Vegas. “They are already talking about staying at the Venetian on their wedding night, and what sort of dress she’ll wear,” we are told.
