Kim Cattrall ditches toy-boy lover

In a move that could well be inspired by her on-screen personae as Sex and the City’s resident sexual guru, Samantha Jones, British actress Kim Cattrall has cut all ties with her latest BF, and is now footloose and hungry and back on the prowl.

Kim, 52, and her newly-ex friend, 32-year old Canadian chef, Alan Wyse, who were together five years, were last seen in public at the “Pour Your Body Out” exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan on November 19. But insiders say the former lovers had been drifting apart for some time; “It was a long time coming,” one source confirms. “They had some trouble in April and things have since fizzled out.”

Kim is set to reprise her Golden Globe-winning role in “Sex and the City 2″ which begins shooting this fall. She will also appear opposite Ewan McGregor  in Roman Polanski’s ‘The Ghost,’ which is in post-production and will debut next year.
