Ryan Gosling to release debut album

‘Young Hercules’ star, Ryan Gosling already keeps himself busy between movie roles by moonlighting as a deejay. And now the 28-year old actor has taken the logical step and produced his own album.
An accomplished jazz guitarist, Ryan and long-time friend, Zach Shields will put out a debut album on October 8, under the rather unusual name of ‘Dead Man’s Bones.’ Classed by Ryan as ‘a concept album of sorts,’ the disk is the fruit of two years’ hard work and features the angelic sounds of the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir, who are based in central LA.
After weeks of rehearsal and countless recordings, Ryan is clearly enthralled by the choir, “You know when you’re a kid and you get crayons and paper and just draw, and it’s a bunch of messy lines, but your folks put it on the fridge?” Gosling asked reporters. “We wanted to get back to that place and work with people who hadn’t been affected yet.”
