After briefly denting his career with a short spell as the lead in NBC’s under-written, “My Own Worst Enemy” in 2008, Christian Slater is back with a new perspective on life. He’s just signed to star in the upcoming crime drama, ‘The Forgotten.’
The 39-year old native New Yorker will play ‘Alex Donovan,’ the leader of a group of amateur detectives known as, ‘The Forgotten Network.’ When the police have given up, Donovan and his team must first solve the puzzle of the victim’s identity, then help the Police catch their killer.
And Donovan has some strong motivations – his 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped, and has still not come home three-years later.
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the show is now in advanced pre-production and will bow on your ABC station on September 22, at 10pm Eastern.
