Hayden Panettiere dumps lover, Steve Jones

Having already tasted romantic success with Pamela Anderson, Halle Berry and a bevy of others we have yet to learn, London lothario Steve Jones’ latest conquest, Hayden Panettiere, has finally made him the dumpee.
Hayden, 19, canceled the short-lived affair with the 32-year old British TV presenter because she found out she doesn’t really like him that way, ‘I’m single and mingling. Steve lives in London, the distance is a bit too much.’ the ‘Heroes’ star told reporters.
The ex-couple met over dinner with friends at Nobu, an upscale restaurant in London. “There were a group of them there, including Elton John’s mate, David Furnish; But Hayden and Steve only had eyes for each other.” a source said of the pair at the time.
A few days later they skipped over the water to France, and were spied schmoozing on-board a yacht at the Cannes Film Festival, “Cannes was a great experience.” Hayden later recalled. “Some friends were going, so I decided to tag along. It was fun.”
For his part, Steve was said to be visibly thrilled by both the trip, and his choice of companion. But Hayden was not as impressed by her attentive suitor as Steve might have thought. “I’m not good at learning that sometimes you don’t like someone that way – and how to deal with it. I really don’t want to hurt his feelings.” Hayden explained to the scribes.
Having only recently parted from fellow Hero, Milo Ventimiglia, the 5′1” actress, known to her closest as ‘Mushroom.’ is sure to bounce back from this tiny detour.
