Farrah Fawcett given last rites – family gathers

In the final few chapters on the life of a legend, actress and icon Farrah Fawcett has now received her last rites.

After a brave, relentless and injurious battle against cancer that has dominated her life for more than two years, those close to the 62-year old actress have now told reporters that the next few hours could be Farrah’s last.

A life-long devout Catholic, Farrah was given the last rites late last night after being transferred to the Intensive Care unit at the Santa Monica hospital where she has been treated since her condition worsened three weeks ago. Her family and long-term partner, Ryan O’Neal are all by her side. The rest of the story is now up to God.

Farrah was a star in the true sense of the word. Even if you may not remember her work, if you believe in a god please spare her a prayer.
