Perez Hilton owes GLADD and everyone else an apology

After the alleged attack by Will.i.am’s manager Polo of the Black Eyed Peas during a trip to Toronto with Lady Gaga, Perez Hilton is not looking so innocent in the altercation (big surprise). It’s one thing to hide behind a blog and ruthlessly ridicule people, but in person sometimes that leads to a good sock on the jaw. Not saying Perez deserved to be punched but he did shoot off his mouth (caught on video) and has come under fire from GLADD for calling Will.i.am an offensive slur for homosexual.
It’s an odd twist, especially with Perez’s total outrage over Carrie Prejean’s answer to his provocative question, about not believing in gay marriage, which got him all indiginent. And then he’s caught calling Will.i.am a rather offensive name that if it had been said to him, he would have probably sued. I won’t say what he said exactly, but I will give you a hint: first word rhymes with sucking and second word rhymes with maggot, as in *ucking *aggot.
Now GLADD is furious (and rightfully so), especially when you consider the fact that Perez is a former employee and current unofficial representative of the organization by proxy. But Perez isn’t apologizing. In fact, he can’t believe the audacity of GLADD for being upset!
Just check out this quote from TMZ:
“I am saddened GLAAD chose to victimize me further by criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a very scary situation that, unfortunately, turned violent. While I doubt I will get an apology from GLAAD, nor do I expect one, I would just hope people know how difficult it is to intellectualize a situation and think rationally when a thug disguised as a musician is screaming at your face and intimidating you. I am just very fortunate and grateful that nothing more serious happened to me.”
Hopefully Perez will stop being a little biaaatch and apologize for blurting out words that he would ordinarily detest.
