Lindsay Lohan dumped by Sam via text

As if the alleged jewel ‘heist’ wasn’t trouble enough, now LaLohan’s got another reason to mope — She’s been dumped by Sam Ronson. And Sam did it by text!

Sam called it quits Monday night, and LaLohan’s long hours at parties in LA and London would seem to be the main cause; “Sam let Lindsay back into her life as a friend, but now that seems impossible.” a close friend told People. “No matter how many times she promises to change, Lindsay loses control and starts acting like a maniac.”

Another big source of strife since their last reconnection was Sam’s ongoing link with Nicole Richie — who is known to hate Linds with a passion: “Nicole refuses even to be in the same room!” says a source. Last week, Sam was invited to a party at Bar Marmont by Nicole — But only if she came on her own. “Sam went to the party – and that really upset Lindsay,” says our friend.

A few days later, Sam was seen sharing dinner with Nicole at Izaka-ya in west LA. It was then she decided to cut her losses and spare herself [and us] further pain, and finally issued the terminal text.

So, for what must be the forty-fourth time their union is over. And as usual, it’s over for good. Neither Sam’s rep nor Nicole’s is talking, and LaLohan’s too busy bathing in ‘scandal’ to condone a response.

Will this one stick? Let’s just wait and see…
