David Carradine’s Funeral Attended By Four Hundred Mourners
David Carradine’s funeral was this morning, attracting a large list of well-known names who came for the chance to say goodbye to their friend. Despite being a private service, more than 400 guests attended, according to E!Online, filling the Los Angeles-based Forest Lawn cemetery. Rather then the traditional funeral garb, many mourners opted for Western influenced clothing, as a tribute to the actor’s role in ‘Kung Fu’, for which he was best known. Among those present were Lucy Liu, Tom Selleck (photo right via SplashNews), Jane Seymour, and Ron Schneider, all of whom considered themselves close friends with the departed ‘Kill Bill’ star. Carradine was found dead in Bangkok ten days ago, hanging from his hotel-room closet, naked with a rope around his genitals. First thought a suicide, it has since been ruled that his death was not self-induced, though whether it was an accident based on sex-play gone wrong, or (as some believe) murder, no one is sure.
