Miley Cyrus is dating a dork

After breaking up with Nick Jonas in 2007, Miley Cyrus has apparently found true love again — and it’s another guy with a band.

The 16-year old, best known to the world as Hanna Montana, is now said to be dating the British singer, Steve Rushton. [If the name's not ringing a bell, you might remember him as her lead guitarist in the movie of her hit TV show.]

Steve also plays in a Brit band called, ‘Son of Dork’…Go figure?

The pair are said to have become pretty close and are constantly tweeting each other when they’re apart. Miley is reported to be really smitten, and the good news is that dad, Billy Ray, is even said to approve.

“They hit it off straight away.” says a source. “When they’ve been apart they’ve spent hours IM’ing each other! She is still very young, but she’s smitten with him,” we are told.

Having clearly been schooled by her glamorous godmother, Dolly Parton, Miley’s ethereal voice and charming persona have attracted millions of fans for the hit TV show. She even managed to bring the center of London to a shuddering halt when the movie debuted there in mid-April. Thousands of fans applauded and screamed, and at just 5’4″, poor Miley was almost lost in the crowd.

But here’s some good news – She’s just signed a contract to make a fourth season. It deals with the Stewart family’s move out of Malibu, and goes into production early next year.
