Kate Hudson getting too close too fast with A-Rod?

Since being semi-officially linked with Alex Rodriguez in May, Kate Hudson has become a regular feature at Yankees games, and the effect on A-Rod’s performance is causing some stress.

The 30-year old actress has been attending ball games, both in New York and when the team were on tour, and has now introduced her son, Ryder, 5, to the Yankees’ high-profile star. And the rest of the team are way less than thrilled, “First we dealt with all the Madonna mayhem, now we’re on to Kate. It’s distracting,” says a Yankees’ insider. “And they haven’t even been together that long.”

Like her mom, Goldie Hawn, Kate can and frequently does obsess over love, which was cited for the reason Lance Armstrong gave her his walking papers. So far, Kate’s taken Ryder to Dallas to watch A-Rod in three games, then she joined the crowd at Bar 108 in New York when the team was on tour, saw a live game last Tuesday, then she and Ryder were spied at another live game on Sunday. “It’s not like there’s a problem with wives or girlfriends going to games,” the source told The Scoop. “But a lot of us agree that this is a little much. They’re barely dating, and it’s all about Kate.”

And Kate seems to have quite a thing about jocks — Apart from a brief fling with Owen Wilson, she’s been romantically linked to PGA star Adam Scott, cycling legend, Lance Armstrong and Dallas Stars’ right-wing, Eric Lindros.

What is it with this girl and sweat?
