When Katie Price – aka, ‘Jordan’ – and Peter Andre announced their four-year marriage was over last month, their friends expected some fallout, but nothing this bad…
According to close friends, the 31-year old model has hit rock bottom, and is still eagerly digging. She’s allegedly drinking too much, barely eating at all, and only getting some sleep by swallowing pills. She also calls Pete when she’s drunk, and takes her scorn out on the friends if he fails to pick up.
“She doesn’t know what to do with herself,” says one anguished associate. “She’s been sobbing and trying to call Pete, and we’re all worried she’s drinking too much.” Another girlfriend agrees, “She’s been used to venting her anger on Pete all these years. Now she can’t, she doesn’t know how to deal with it. She’s complaining constantly, especially about not sleeping, and has become just unbearable!”
As if drink and insomnia were not stress enough, Katie’s also plotting to hide all her cash. She’s told friends she is determined to beat Pete, 38, in court and protect her fortune, currently guessed at around $65m. “Katie’s gone into a complete meltdown this week,” a friend told the Telegraph’s scribes. “All of a sudden this became a reality.”
Another sad train-wreck who encountered each other on the UK’s original, “I’m A Celebrity…,” the couple have three children, who risk getting hurt if they split; A three-year old son, Junior, a one-year-old daughter, Princess Tiáamii, and a six-year-old son named Harvey, whom Katie conceived during a storm-riddled romance with soccer star, Dwight Yorke.
