Tantric sex works for Heather Graham but no lift-off yet

Boogie Nights star Heather Graham knows how to raise excitement when promoting a new movie.  Graham who had a modest role in “The Hangover,” Graham told the UK’s Daily Mail that she practices tantric sex, presumably with her current boyfriend director Yaniv Raz:

I first got into it when I was filming The Guru (naturally) in 2002 and I haven’t looked back. What most people know about tantric sex is that Sting does it and it lasts eight hours. But he’s not having sex continually. You can take a bath, massage your partner, listen to music. The idea is that you let the whole thing build very slowly until finally you merge with your partner. It works for me.

Graham also reveals that she practices transcendental meditation but hasn’t yet achieved her goal of levitation (but heck the tantric sex might do it?) :

So far I’ve only succeeded in my dreams. I practice transcendental meditation and there is a phase where you’re meant to lift off the ground. It hasn’t happened yet. I’ll manage it one day. In fact, I’m aiming beyond levitation. I want to be able to fly like a superhero. I won’t be happy until I can fly across oceans and cities, saving people from being murdered.

P.S. for those of us not totally clear on what tantric sex is all about, here’s this from Discovery Health: The word Tantra means “to manifest, to expand, to show and to weave.” In this context, sex is thought to expand consciousness and to weave together the polarities of male (represented by the Hindu god, Shiva), and female (embodied by the Hindu goddess, Shakti), into a harmonious whole.

Couples need not adopt the Tantric pantheon in order to benefit from the sexual wisdom of this ancient art. Tantric sexual practices teach us to prolong the act of making love and to utilize potent orgasmic energies more effectively.
